"...prayer is actually our greatest tool because it is the fundamental exercise of faith and hope. It’s a necessary process of abandoning the world and all the lies in it and connecting with God who leads us to what is true and real. It purifies our thoughts, feelings, motives, will and our entire being. It brings about peace that enables us to have a better perspective of things."

“Hi, I’m Eve,“ she said, gazing into his sleepy eyes.
“I’m Adam. You’re so different from me, all soft and curvy,” he replied, getting a nice warm feeling.
“And you’re hard and muscular! What’s this? I don’t have this.” She curiously touched him.
“That’s my Adam’s apple.”
“What? You ate them already?!”
This is a story that I wrote as an exercise for the Short Forms of Creative Writing course that I took years ago. Naughty, naughty you if you were beginning to think about something else. Actually that was the whole point of my story: to trigger a wrong notion.
And that is how sin starts — as an unbidden thought, in misjudging someone, doing little acts that, if unchecked, will lead you to commit a great offense. So be careful with that first thought; it’s the “first bite” into temptation. Watch where it leads you so you can guard against sin.

Lord, I dedicate this song to You
Day after day, I must face a world of strangers
Where I don’t belong, I’m not that strong
It’s nice to know that there’s someone I can turn to
Who will always care, You’re always there
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You
So many times when the city seems to be
Without a friendly face, a lonely place
It’s nice to know that You’ll be there if I need You
And You’ll always smile, it’s all worthwhile
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You
Touch me and I end up singing
Trouble seems to up and disappear
You touch me with the love You’re bringing
I can’t really lose when You’re near
When You’re near, my love
If all my friends have forgotten half their promises
Where I don’t belong, I’m not that strong
It’s nice to know that there’s someone I can turn to
Who will always care, You’re always there
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You
So many times when the city seems to be
Without a friendly face, a lonely place
It’s nice to know that You’ll be there if I need You
And You’ll always smile, it’s all worthwhile
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You
Touch me and I end up singing
Trouble seems to up and disappear
You touch me with the love You’re bringing
I can’t really lose when You’re near
When You’re near, my love
If all my friends have forgotten half their promises
They’re not unkind, just
hard to find
One look at You and I know
That I could learn to live without the rest
I’ve found the best
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You
hard to find
One look at You and I know
That I could learn to live without the rest
I’ve found the best
When there’s no gettin’ over that rainbow
When my smallest of dreams won’t come true
I can take all the MADNESS the world has to give
But I won’t last a day without You

Isaiah 58:7-10
7 Thus says the LORD: Share your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own. 8 Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your wound shall quickly be healed; your vindication shall go before you, and the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard. 9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer, you shall cry for help, and he will say, Here I am! If you remove from your midst oppression, false accusation and malicious speech; 10 if you bestow your bread on the hungry and satisfy the afflicted; then light shall rise for you in the darkness, and the gloom shall become for you like midday.

You Found Me by Fray
I found God on the corner of 1st and Amistad
Where the West was all but won
All alone, smoking his last cigarette
I said, "Where you been?" He said, "Ask anything"
Where were you when everything was falling apart?
All my days were spent by the telephone that never rang
And all I needed was a call that never came
To the corner of 1st and Amistad
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late, you found me, you found me
But in the end everyone ends up alone
Losing her, the only one who's ever known
Who I am, who I'm not and who I wanna be
No way to know how long she will be next to me
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late, you found me, you found me!
The early morning, the city breaks
And I've been calling for years and years and years and years
And you never left me no messages
You never sent me no letters
You got some kind of nerve taking all I want!
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor, where were you? Where were you?
Lost and insecure, you found me, you found me
Lying on the floor surrounded, surrounded
Why'd you have to wait? Where were you? Where were you?
Just a little late, you found me, you found me!
Why'd you have to wait to find me, to find me?

Ang bait talaga ni Lord!! :))
I asked Him kung pwede sana.. hindi na masyado Niya palamigin ang weather.. these past few days kasi the temperature lowered... Thus, halos lahat ng tao nag-ja-jacket in going out.. even at home... So kung nalalamigan kaming mga may proper clothing, anong lamig pa kaya ang na-fe-feel ng mga bata sa kalye.. or yung mga walang msisilungan, matitirahan...
But the Lord is so good... Ngayon, the weather seems to become normal.. no more rainy days.. the sun began to shine.. ;)) Although it's not really that super hot, it gave us enough warmth.:)
I also would like to thank the Lord for giving our family a chance to bond with our close relatives.. because today is the 4th birth anniversary of my cousin, Keansley S. Tingcoy.. :)) May the blessings of the Lord be upon him! :))
God bless you! :))
