I am confident. I feel secured in God. :)

When I jump.. I feel wonderful.. I can fly.. And I know I can fly not by my own capacity.. I fly because of Him... And when I get back down from the little journey.. He embraces me.. and I come home to Him again.

HOW P20 GREW TO MILLIONS

Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” – Matthew 15:34

It all started with P20. In 1979, Rey Ortega was having breakfast with four friends. While he was reading the newspaper, his eyes caught an article about 200,000 out-of-school street kids in Metro Manila. The figure blew his mind. He told his four friends about it. “Look, I have an extra P20 here. We may not be able to help 200,000 street kids, but if we chip in, we can send at least one of them back to school.” So they marched to Tipas Elementary School in Taguig, Rizal.
They talked to the principal and asked if they had a student who can’t go on to high school because of poverty. The principal said yes. “Her name is Rodora Lopez.” So Rey and his friends sent her to school.
The following year, they sent another. To date, they have sent almost 100 children to school. Some even graduated cum laudes and made it to the top 10 of their board exams.
Today, Rey Ortega heads our scholarship ministry that sends poor children to high school and college.
If you think P20 has little value now, place it in God’s hands and He will multiply it for His favorite children — the anawims. Bo Sanchez (bosanchez@kerygmafamily.com)

What little do I have that can be used for God’s purpose?
